I’m Max Pfeferman — a long-time grinder, brewer, and content creator in the cEDH community. I started playing cEDH in 2021 and quickly fell in love with the format’s depth, the social dynamics, and the puzzle of building and refining decks. Since then, I’ve top-finished tournaments with Florian, Tymna/Jeska, Talion, Tymna/Thrasios, and Tymna/Kraum, and I enjoy mastering different archetypes instead of locking myself into just one lane. I host the Win and In Podcast, where I interview players, TOs, theorists, and brewers — constantly learning from high-level perspectives and sharing the knowledge forward. My biggest strengths as a coach are mulligan philosophy, table politics, and deck refinement, helping players understand why decisions matter rather than just what to do next. As a father of three teenagers, patience and communication come naturally to me. I love working with players to develop their intuition, tighten gameplay, and build decks they’re proud to sit down with. At my core, I’m a brewer — I enjoy solving metas, shaping game plans, and helping others grow into confident, competitive players.
